Plenty of equipment is imported in pieces and assembled on arrival, and the word for that is still “made” on most websites. This is what ours means.

Cut
Extrusion comes in as stock lengths and is cut to the drawing for the size ordered. A 24-foot shelter and an 8-foot shelter are the same parts in different counts.

Weld
Frames, ribs and base skids are welded up in the same building they were cut in. Nothing arrives as a subassembly from somewhere else.

Finish
Mill finish is standard. Powder coat is an add-on. The color itself is not an upcharge.

Inspect
Checked here before a shelter, press box, or backstop ships, by the people who built it. A batter's eye does not ship. When you call about a weld three years later, you are calling the same building.
How the price is set.
You know what it is like: stretch a budget across fifteen sports and still want the sideline to look like a program that means business. Same aluminum, same polycarbonate, same warranty as the national brands — and the prices for shelters, press boxes, and backstops are published on /pricing, so you can build a budget before you talk to anybody. A batter's eye is a custom quote. Freight is quoted separately.
Dealers who sell for us buy below those published prices, which is the same arithmetic running one step further along. If you are buying through a dealer, their quote is the price, not ours. The dealer program is here.
